Gatherings – Cowriting Dates
2x per week
- Wednesdays @ 3:00 p.m. ET / 12:00 p.m. PT
- Fridays @ 1:30 p.m. ET / 10:30 a.m. ET
- 75 minutes each
- Gather in time, pre-writing practice + sharing what we’re working on, one full hour of writing, and final check-in!
- Possibility of a surprise pop-up session when inspired!
Firesides – Fireside “Tea” Time
1x per month
- 3rd Sunday of every month @ 1:00 p.m. ET / 10:00 a.m. PT
- 1-2 hours
- Opportunity for “hot seat” questions for book coaching & intuitive feedback
The Gatherings and Firesides will be held on Zoom, recorded & kept through the following week so you can join the communal writing magic on your own time.

Is this for me?
If you’re writing (or even revising!) a book, work better with people working alongside you, and would like regular anchors of writing during the week to keep you on track with your publishing goals—and would appreciate the opportunity each month to “pick” an editor’s brain—the Writers Cottage is for you!
Do I have to write a specific kind of book to fit in?
No. The Writers Cottage is open to writers who are dedicated to working on their books, regardless of genre.
What if I’m not writing a book but something else?
If you’ve got a story on your heart that you want to dedicate regular time to writing, and it happens to be a script, screenplay, or other format, you’re welcome to join us.
Do I have to be an experienced writer to join?
You can be a newbie to writing or a seasoned pro. Published or unpublished. We have writers at all stages in their journey. The one thing in common is that we all want to get our books done, out into the world, and into our readers’ hands. If you’re ready to put your stories on the page, you are welcome here.
How does the monthly membership work?
The Writers Cottage is a subscription-based membership, which is managed through PayPal. You will be charged monthly based on the date you first joined.
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
If you wish to cancel your membership at any time, contact The Intuitive Editor, and your PayPal subscription will be canceled promptly. If you still have time left based on when your membership began, you’ll be notified how long you have to continue attending Gatherings/Firesides.
What happens after I join?
So happy to have you with us in the Writers Cottage! You’ll get a welcome email containing access information for the upcoming cowriting dates and membership perks within 24 hours upon your initial subscription payment. We will ask you to confirm which email you’d like to be notified on (since our PayPal email addresses often aren’t our best email addresses for timely reminders), and you’ll be added to the Writers Cottage notice list, so you don’t miss any Gatherings, Firesides, or pop-up cowriting dates!
Will I get reminders for the cowriting dates?
Absolutely! You’ll get weekly reminders by email for the Gatherings on Wednesdays and Fridays as well as for the Firesides. We’ll also provide a Writers Cottage Google calendar to populate your calendar.
You’ll get at least a day’s notice if there’s a surprise pop-up Gathering!
What if I can’t come to the cowriting date(s)?
If you’re unable to attend, don’t fret! The Gatherings & Firesides will be recorded and saved for one week so you can still tap into the communal writing magic on your own time.
What if I’m running late?
All good! If you need to arrive late or leave early, you may slide in/out and share what you’re working on in the chat so we can cheer you on for showing up, period!
How do I use my bonus discount as a member?
When you join, you’ll receive a special discount code that you can use on any editing or human design service in the store.
For book editing projects, your discount will automatically be applied to your total investment.
